MTB atau bersepeda gunung merupakan olahraga ekstrim yang sangat populer. Namun permainan berbasis olahraga sangat sedikit. Game terakhir dalam tema ini adalah Riders Republic dan tidak fokus pada MTB. Hanya satu game yang bertema MTB dan unik menurut saya.

Game yang saya bicarakan adalah Downhill Domination. Kini Incognito Games dari Insomniac Games dirilis pada tahun 2004 dan eksklusif untuk platform PS2. Permainan ini menampilkan pakar MTB Eric Carter dan Brian Lopez.

Mengikutsertakan pengendara sepeda gunung profesional tidak berarti Anda mengharapkan nuansa balap profesional. Downhill Domination menawarkan versi balap sepeda gunung yang lebih kacau di mana Anda dapat memukul/melempar botol ke pengendara sepeda motor lain. Ada juga banyak peralihan di sini. Lepas landas di lereng bersalju gurun hutan tropis dan daerah perkotaan. Soundtrack bawaan membuat perjalanan menjadi menyenangkan yang merupakan nilai tambah untuk musiknya.
